Paul Visser - Ankylosing Spondylitis

 

In August 2009 my son Paul (11years old) has been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis.

This is a chronic condition of inflammatory arthritis in his spine.

 
 

He was constantly in a lot of pain and battled with simple tasks like getting out of bed in the morning
or tying his shoes.

When he was sitting down and wanted to get up he walked bent forward like an old man.
He had to gradually bring his body in the upright position.
Any sudden movements caused him pain.

 

This sickness mostly meant severe painful stiffness of the back, which we were told, would only get worse with time if untreated.

At this time, when bending forward, his fingertips could just reach his knees.

 
 

 

The rheumatologist in Cape Town that was treating Paul informed us that this sickness
could not be cured, but that there was a biological treatment that would keep it
intact.

 
 

In September 2009 Sandra and Pieter Louw, Herbalife distributors, crossed my path and she immediately suggested Paul start taking Herbalife Joint Support, Multivitamins and Shake.

He has been drinking this ever since.

Paul's back has been cured.

 

At every doctor's visit he had to complete a questionnaire on his own without my help
about the severity of his pain in different scenarios.
With every question came a line across the page from left to right marked "No pain"
on the left and "Severe pain" on the right and he had to mark on the line where his pain level was.

 

For the first two months all his marks were on the right side of the line.
With our December visit all his marks were on the left and I saw it but said nothing because the doctor
had no comments about it.

 

Before this visit Paul has told me on several occasions that he no longer has back pain.
When we saw the Doctor on 1 February 2010, his questionnaire was "No pain" on all questions.

The Doctor then tested his movement by measuring and she said everything is back to normal.

He could touch his toes again!

 

She then told us that this has never happened before with any of her patients.
We were due to start with the biological medication that day in the form of injections in his legs.
She suggested we do not start this and actually reduce his anti-inflammatory medication by 50%
and after two weeks stop it completely!

 

Our Father is so awesome - we give Him the glory!

 

I believe that Herbalife is a wonderful product.

Paul's immunity to sickness and his general health improved dramatically!
